We appreciate your interest in our Phlebotomy program.

​

Here are the basic requirements to register for the program:

  • Must be at least 18 y/o

  • Must have a valid social security number or ITIN.

  • Must able to comprehend 10th-grade level of English or higher (we don't need HS diploma or school transcripts).

  • Covid Vaccination is recommended but not required.​

Additional requirements:

  • This class meets face to face for venipuncture skills practice at the school every week.

  • You have to bring family members or friends to practice on.

  • Minimum requirement is at least 30 successful blood draws to complete the course.

We highly recommend anyone interested to sign up early. There is an assigned mandatory homework of reading your textbook from chapters 1-5 before the first day of class.   

 

Cost:

The total cost of the Phlebotomy course is $1889 which includes the tuition, registration, textbook, book exam review, scrub uniforms and CBL (computer-based learning).

Completion of required venipuncture draws:

  • To complete the Phlebotomy course, the student has to complete a minimum of thirty (30) successful venipunctures on friends or family members.

  • The student has to bring a family member to the school on Tuesday or Wednesday when we are practicing venipuncture draws, dates TBA.

  • We will practice social distancing, wear masks, practice frequent hand hygiene and answer questionnaires before coming to the school.

 

NHA Certification:

Upon completion of the course, the student is now eligible to register to take the certification exam through the National Healthcareer Association. Avid CNA School will assist in registering the student for the certification exam.

Here are the steps to register:

  • After reading the Enrollment Agreement, if you want registration to proceed, the initial down payment of $400 is required. ​

  • Once the down payment is received, we will send you documents to fill out via DocuSign. 

  • Simply fill out the information and it will be sent back to us automatically. 

  • We will then set up an appointment, date and time, to pick up books needed for the class.
